"...and bring all things to your remembrance..."

I read this Psalm the other night before sleep came.
In my soul I heard and vaguely remembered the melody and the words.
Strange how the songs you sang in church so many years ago
can come to remembrance...
As if they float to the surface,
long forgotten,
a word memorized,
a song sung,
and then many years later, you remember.

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

Do you remember this?
(my Afrikaans friends?)
Psalm 42:
Soos 'n hert in dorre streke
skreeuend dors na die genot
van die helder waterbeke,
skreeu my siel na u, o God!
Ja, my siel dors na die Heer,
na die lewensbron; wanneer
sal 'k, ná swerftog en benouing,
God weer sien in klare-aanskouing.
